Early Years Foundation Stage

Welcome to the WIJPS Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). EYFS provides children with the building blocks for positive, life‑long learning in a happy, active, exciting, fun and secure environment.

Our EYFS Ethos

EYFS is a very important part of your child’s school journey. It helps children get ready for school and prepares them for future learning and success. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum with teaching that is engaging, innovative and personalised to each child’s needs, in a high‑quality, stimulating and playful environment, supported by an adult in small groups.
